In this episode, Illinois Adventure travels to Franklin Grove to the headquarters of the Lincoln Highway Association. Founded in 1913 by Carl Fisher, the Lincoln Highway Association was formed to establish the first trans-continental highway. While there we learn about the historic road markers that still exist in spite of federal attempts to make them obsolete.
