The goal of the Knox County Historical Museum is to house treasures of historical and cultural significance for Knox County. They are eager to represent each culture, business, church, school, or township in the area, as well as beyond. Inside, exhibits are arranged in a charming, personal manner providing something of interest for everyone. The machinery collection is unique. It consists of six steam engines, five of slide valve type. Four of the slide valve engines are attached to boilers, and represent a complete C & G Cooper Model selection.
